02Terms of Sale

1. Scope

These terms apply to direct purchases made from Abecator through abecator.com, primarily digital engineering courses, downloadable learning resources and related digital products. Project-specific consulting is governed by its proposal, statement of work or consulting agreement.

2. Prices, taxes and payment

The price shown immediately before payment is the price for the selected product, with applicable tax treatment stated at checkout. Stripe processes payments; Abecator does not store full payment-card details.

3. Course delivery, bundles and subscriptions

After confirmed payment, the courses included in the selected individual purchase, lifetime bundle or active all-access membership are attached to the customer account associated with the checkout email. Lifetime access remains subject to these terms and service availability. Monthly and annual memberships renew automatically at the price and interval shown immediately before checkout until cancelled; cancellation stops future renewals and membership-backed access ends when the paid subscription period ends. Access is personal and may not be shared, resold or transferred unless Abecator agrees in writing.

4. Digital delivery and withdrawal consent

Before immediate digital delivery starts, checkout requires the customer to request immediate access and acknowledge that the statutory withdrawal right may be lost once supply begins, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

5. Intellectual property

Course videos, text, simulation files, CAD files, worksheets, images, software and templates are protected content. Purchase grants a personal, non-exclusive right to use them for learning and internal professional development. Republishing, selling, distributing, scraping or systematically reproducing the material is prohibited unless authorized.

6. Engineering-use limitation

Training content and engineering tools are educational resources. They do not replace project-specific engineering judgment, verification, validation, safety assessment, certification or professional responsibility.

7. Service availability and account security

Abecator may reasonably update course sequencing, obsolete material, files and platform features while preserving the core learning value of an active paid course. Customers must protect account credentials. Access may be temporarily restricted where there is credible evidence of fraud, account sharing, security abuse or unlawful redistribution.

8. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by Swedish law, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply in the customer’s country of residence. Purchase questions can be sent to support@abecator.com.

03Privacy Policy

1. Controller and data processed

Abecator controls personal data processed for Abecator’s own purposes. Depending on the service used, this can include account and session data, transaction references, course progress, inquiries, voluntarily submitted AI-assistance inputs or diagnostic files, and limited technical or first-party analytics data.

2. Purposes and legal grounds

Data is used to provide accounts and purchased content, perform contracts, reconcile payments, answer inquiries, secure and improve the service, comply with accounting or tax obligations and, where relevant, act on consent or another lawful basis under GDPR.

3. Service providers and transfers

Abecator uses service providers including Cloudflare for website infrastructure, protected delivery and selected AI processing, and Stripe for payment processing. Providers receive only data reasonably needed for their role. If processing occurs outside Sweden or the EEA, an applicable GDPR transfer mechanism is used where required.

4. Retention and browser storage

Records are kept only as long as needed for service delivery, security, disputes and applicable legal obligations. Essential session technology supports sign-in and protected course access. First-party analytics or browser storage may support functionality and measurement.

5. Your rights

Subject to GDPR conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent where applicable. Contact support@abecator.com. You may also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

6. Data sales and updates

Abecator does not sell personal data to advertisers. This policy may be updated when services, providers or legal requirements change; material changes will be reflected by a new policy version.

04Refunds, withdrawal & complaints

14-day distance-contract principle

Consumers generally have a 14-day statutory withdrawal period for eligible distance contracts. The applicable period and exceptions depend on what was purchased and when delivery or performance begins.

Digital courses and immediate delivery

For digital content delivered immediately, the statutory withdrawal right can cease once supply begins only when the legal conditions are satisfied. Checkout therefore requires an active request for immediate delivery and acknowledgment that the withdrawal right may be lost once access begins.

Consulting and other services

If a consumer asks for a service to begin during an applicable withdrawal period, payment may be due for the proportion already performed when the legal requirements are met.

Defects, complaints and voluntary refunds

Withdrawal and defect rights are separate. If digital content is faulty, inaccessible or materially different from its description, contact Abecator with the purchase reference and problem description. Mandatory remedies remain available. Abecator may also approve voluntary refunds in appropriate cases such as duplicate purchases or an uncorrectable delivery failure.

Submit a request

Use the withdrawal, refund or complaint form for an immediate electronic acknowledgment, or email support@abecator.com.

Policy version 2026-08-24. Mandatory consumer rights under applicable law are not limited by these terms.
