COURSE OUTCOME

Build capability you can transfer directly into engineering CFD work.

Turbomachinery, energy, marine and aerospace engineers working with rotating-flow systems.

What you will learn

  • Build centrifugal-pump models with rotating and stationary regions, interfaces and performance reporting.
  • Generate and simulate aircraft propeller geometry across operating conditions.
  • Use MRF/RBM approaches for marine propeller performance analysis.
  • Evaluate performance, mesh sensitivity, validation evidence and cavitation-risk indicators.

Prerequisites

Intermediate STAR-CCM+ experience is recommended. Familiarity with rotating machinery and performance coefficients is helpful.

Who this is for

Turbomachinery, energy, marine and aerospace engineers working with rotating-flow systems.
